Doppelgone says “Open Google Photos first”

Open photos.google.com in the same Chrome profile, sign in, then open Doppelgone again. It works with the account that Google Photos tab is signed in to.

How do I undo a clean-up?

Open Doppelgone → Settings (gear) → Recent clean-ups → Undo. Or restore photos one by one in Google Photos → Trash. Photos stay in the trash for 30 days.

My storage didn’t go down

Photos in the trash still count toward your storage until the trash is emptied. Google empties it after 30 days, or you can empty it yourself in Google Photos.

The first scan is slow

Doppelgone analyses every photo on your computer the first time; big libraries can take a while. You can close the popup, the scan keeps going, and later scans only look at new photos.

I bought Pro but it still says Free

Open Doppelgone with the same Google account you bought it for. Using another account or computer? Paste your licence key (from your receipt or Polar’s customer portal) in Settings.
